Bay Apartments, a 10 unit studio apartment project in Coos Bay opened on August 23, 2007. 

These 10 studio apartments are rental housing units for transitional housing serving Coos County mentally ill adults for up to 18 months.  They are designed to help people get back into the regular commercial housing market by providing a transition from homelessness to independent living.  This is not a licensed treatment facility but an independent apartment building.

Coos County Mental Health supports this project both monetarily and by providing on site case management services.
