GREENBURG
Greenburg is a 8-unit, non-licensed Supportive Housing Program located in Washington County. Greenburg serves individuals who have a chronic mental illness, but are able to live independently in the community with the proper community-based supports. For many individuals, stepping down into this level of care is a wonderful achievement and evidence of their hard work and commitment to recovery.
The Greenburg program offers some housing support (1915i), with all other mental health services provided the tenant's designated mental health provider. The goal of this program is to help individuals manage their mental illness, continue their recovery, and maintain an affordable independent living situation in the open housing market. ColumbiaCare acts as a mental health friendly landlord, and our Property Management division carries out all property management functions.
Two-bedroom apartments are available. Tenants are responsible for their rent (or a negotiated portion thereof) and all utilities.
Tenants are identified and referred through Washington County, and admission to Greenburg is a collaborative process between the two agencies.
