The JCCW Mental Health Transitional Housing Program has been designed to benefit up to 12 families of the Jackson County community by providing safe, supervised, alcohol and drug-free emergency housing. This program also facilitates mental health treatment and case management for the parent(s) of the family as well as connecting them to community supports and resources for the future. A typical stay for a family is 60 days, but if needed, it can be extended for up to 6 months.
The goal of this program is to promote family stability through services that address mental health, substance addiction and housing needs. For referrals and admission, ColumbiaCare will work closely with the Department of Human Services (DHS) to identify families that are appropriate for services.
