I am a retired businesswoman, a former public official and serve in multiple capacities for private, public and civic organizations both statewide and on a national basis.  I am an arbitrator, possess decades of extensive business and human resource management experience and serve on multiple boards.   I am very well connected in the non-profit community in multiple roles. 
 
I am prompted to write on behalf of Halsey Street Crisis Resolution Center.   I had the opportunity to interact with the Executive Director and most staff members during a 2 week period of time that my daughter was an inpatient.  I was able to define a comprehensive understanding of the skills, character and competence of the organization through direct interaction during that period of time.  I had ample opportunity to view staff duties, performance, administration and patient interactions during the day and evening shifts.  
 
I was impressed with the universally competent, results-oriented, highly skilled and caring service they provided.  They smoothly balanced routines and deadlines while consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism.   They were exceedingly organized and exhibited excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.  They are a collaborative, versatile, reliable, and an enthusiastic team.   A special quality demonstrated was the ability to evaluate complex situations by providing solutions, and then to directly participate in their resolution and disposition, especially in serious matters.  At all times staff and the administrators behaved in a skilled manner when using their influence and authority displaying a high level of integrity and caring.   
 
In conclusion, the caring style combined with a highly professional demeanor makes Halsey Street Crisis Resolution Center an unusually well run, outcome based provider.  I would utilize their services again and intend to highly recommend them to my contacts in the community.
