GREENBURG
Greenburg is a 8-unit, non-licensed Supported Housing Program located in Washington County. Greenburg serves individuals who have a chronic mental illness, but are able to live independently in the community with the proper community-based supports. For many individuals, stepping down into this level of care is a wonderful achievement and evidence of their hard work and commitment to recovery.
The Greenburg program offers flexible, wraparound services such as case management, skills training, supported employment and other outpatient services which are tailored to the individual's needs, and are available in the community as well as brought right into the home by ColumbiaCare's Intensive Case Management (ICM) Team. The goal of this program is to help individuals manage their mental illness, continue their recovery, and maintain an affordable independent living situation in the open housing market.
ColumbiaCare acts a mental health friendly landlord, and our Property Management division carries out all property management functions. Two-bedroom apartments are available, and all qualify for HUD funding if the client has a voucher. Tenants are responsible for their rent (or a negotiated portion thereof) and all utilities. All tenants are screened for clinical appropriateness by both ColumbiaCare and the referring agency.
