THIRD THURSDAY VETERANS OUTREACH EVENT!
Third Thursday, a popular community event that is all about supporting our local Veterans, is back! ColumbiaCare is proud to help coordinate this multi-agency outreach effort to provide supports and services to Veterans in Jackson County! Several community partners will be coming together to share resources they have to offer Veterans in need. Agencies such as Access, Max’s Mission, the VA, Southern Oregon University, Legal Aid, Easter Seals, and more will have tables set up in the parking lot of ColumbiaCare’s Veteran Resource Center to provide free resources such as legal services, training and education opportunities, housing and employment programming, help with food, clothing and transportation.
ColumbiaCare staff will also be grilling up a free lunch for Veterans who attend.
Local Veterans are invited and encouraged to come down and have a free meal, talk with the representatives, and hopefully get connected to a program they need. Third Thursday this month falls on April 20th, will be located at 601 N. Grape Street in Medford, and will run from 11am-2pm. For updates and information about future Third Thursdays, you can reach out to the Veterans Resource Center at 541.779.8564.
